Service Description

Book a one-off one-to-one lesson to get support on a specific topic, piece of homework or just general exam revision. No commitment from tutor and student beyond the one lesson, this is a great option for those seeking targeted high-quality support on an adhoc basis. Open to: Maths - KS2 to GCSE - Year 3 - Year 11 English - KS2 to GCSE - Year 3 - Year 11 Science - GCSE only - Year 10 - Year 11 How it works: - Choose a time and fill in the booking form - Let me know detailed information about the topic/homework you need help with or choose a general exam revision lesson where I will cover work suitable for your year - Your booking will be approved and if needed, you will be contacted for any further information required e.g. about the topic/homework - Make payment to confirm the lesson - You will receive confirmation of receipt of payment and instructions to join the online lesson. - and that's it! Receive high-quality one-to-one support from an experienced tutor from the comfort of your home! Please note there will be NO REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS. Once payment is made, the lesson is confirmed. If your child misses the lesson, the work will be sent to you for you and your child to work through independently and you will still be charged. Please be realistic about the amount of content that can be covered within a 1 hour lesson. My aim is always to ensure students' understanding in a topic, adapt my teaching according to their level and learning gaps and equip your child with some valuable knowledge and/or skills within the lesson. When booking a lesson please be specific about any sub-topics within a topic that your child needs help with so these concepts can be targeted as best as possible within the time. Please note regarding help with homework and coursework, I do NOT do homework or coursework FOR students. I will assist, help, and guide students, work through it with them, provide feedback, and guidance on suggested independent next steps where needed. Please note this is not a substitute for regular tutoring lessons and I cannot guarantee availability – sessions are released and booked on an adhoc basis; they are not weekly regular lessons.
